Jedder photography 2018 | Bio

Being an artist my entire life, I found my passion for photography in 2006. As a self taught photographer, I spent the first several years building my reputation and gaining exposure through galleries and an online presence. In 2007 I was awarded as one of twelve national emerging artists by a team of top galleries in Los Angeles. Thanks to this, I began a long string of gallery shows from Los Angeles to Denver that still continues today.

Originally from California, but residing in Colorado for the past 31 years, I hold a special place for both the beach and the mountains, which you will see in most of my work. Because of living in these two beautiful states, and my past in the action sports industry over the last 20 years, I was also able to secure a spot as a photographer in this industry and travel the country shooting with companies such as Neff clothing, Hyperlite wakeboards, the US Snowboard Association, FUEL tv, EA sports, Icelantic skis, and many more.

Along with my photographs, I take pride in handcrafting each custom frame that I offer as well as using unique materials such as skate decks and premium woods to create each art piece that leaves my shop. With my own unique style, I strive for my photography and art as a whole to be a conversation piece, whether it hang in a gallery or on the wall of a home or office.

Self expression through creativity, passion, and style will always be important to me in my journey as a photographer and artist. I've been blessed to live the amazing life that I have, and I'm stoked to continue learning every day and see what the future holds for me... not only as a photographer, but as a loving husband and father.
